- Solar Power Plant Demonstration
Following the lecture, students were taken to the college terrace, where our
solar power
plant is installed. An engineer from MSS Renewtech conducted a live
demonstration of the solar plant, explaining:
- The working mechanism of a solar power plant.
- The two types of solar photovoltaic power systems:
- 1. On-grid system (connected to the electricity grid)
- 2. Off-grid system (standalone system with battery storage)
- Key factors in installation, such as panel direction, spacing, and efficiency. Student Interaction & Learning

Students actively participated in the session, asking questions about:
- The capacity of the solar plant installed in the college.
- The technical aspects of solar panel installation.
- The economic and environmental beneflts of solar power.
The session provided students with practical knowledge about solar technology
and its real- world applications. It was an enriching experience that
strengthened their understanding of sustainable energy solutions.
Commitment to Sustainability
Our college remains committed to adopting eco-friendly initiatives and
integrating sustainability practices into its infrastructure. The solar power
project is a step towards a greener campus, reducing carbon emissions and
promoting clean energy solutions.
