AV Studio Guidelines

The college has a well-equipped and professionally designed Audio-Visual Room located on the fifth floor for the benefit of students and staff. Since the academic year 2017-18, the Audio-Video Editing Studio has been fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, enabling students to gain hands-on experience in:

  • Sound recording
  • Film making
  • Video editing
  • Anchoring
  • Photography and cinematography techniques
  • Post-production and special effects

The studio serves as a creative hub for students, encouraging them to enhance their practical skills in media production and prepare for careers in journalism, fllmmaking, advertising, and broadcasting.

  • Rules & Regulations:
  • 1. The studio facilities are available only for bonaflde students of the college.
  • 2. Prior permission from the faculty-in-charge is required to access the studio.
  • 3. Students must handle all equipment with care and report any technical issues immediately.
  • 4. The use of studio facilities must align with academic and educational purposes only.
  • 5. No food or drinks are allowed inside the studio to maintain hygiene and protect equipment.
  • 6. Any damage to equipment due to negligence will be subject to disciplinary action.
  • 7. Students are required to book the studio in advance and adhere to the allotted time slots.
  • 8. The use of personal storage devices (USBs, hard drives) must be approved by the faculty to prevent data breaches or unauthorized use of software.
  • 9. Students should maintain silence and discipline inside the studio to ensure a productive learning environment.
  • 10. Unauthorized recording or misuse of studio content is strictly prohibited and will lead to disciplinary action.
