It is a holiday resort village near Igatpuri, in the Western Ghats of India. The village is located in the Akole Tehsil, Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, about 185 kilometers from Mumbai and 155 kilometers from Ahmednagar. It included visit to sites like Bhandardara Dam, Sula Vines factory, Artillery Museum.

Smt. K. G. Mittal College of Arts & Commerce had organised two days Industrial Visit at Nilachal Vedic Village located at Dahanu, on 20th and 21st October 2023 for B. Com. Students. Director, Principal, NSS Programme Officers and NSS & Non-NSS volunteers (Male-42 & Female-26+2 Total 70) reached Nilachal Vedic Village at around 10:30 am on 20th October, 2023.
We were welcomed by Mr. Nataraja Gauranga Das Prabhuji and he gave a short introductory lecture. Followed by a session on “Wheel of life, Goal Setting & Balancing Life” by Rasikpapriti Devi Dasi Mataji. In the post lunch session Damodar Prabhuji - Minister of Cow Protection and Agriculture-ISKCON-India, gave a lecture on the importance of Cows, Cow based economy and spirituality. Apart from theory sessions, students also learned organic farming, Gaushala Maintenance, production and packaging of Kachi Ghani oil, cleaning, diya making from Cow Dung and Maati, etc.
